when one reads on yoga in the actual century

thinking out loud.
any society that wants to only utilize technology can obtain it, but only those prepared to pay the price, in social self-absorption and bureaucratic overhead, can keep it. and like other potent technologies, writing radically alters every society into which it is introduced. it involves, after all, a kind of ritual mutilation of the intellect, a sort of cerebral circumcision. in the last months of school, this routine has castrated my imagination.
the energy stagnant in my lower stomach needs to come out and the distance, relevant and impersonal, causes me to wake up at 545 am and just lay there and stare at the ceiling.
the car broke down. winter and tight schedules serve me as opponents in a deficient public transit system.

still, coffee warms me up and i smile to the bus driver.
